To save the lives of her parents and sister, 14 year old Marina steals 20, 000 Egyptian Pounds from her uncle and runs away from the Cairo alley she called home. Blessed with prophetic powers since birth, she's sure she will survive.
That is, until she's abducted by aliens intending to sell her in an intergalactic slave auction. For three months, Marina, along with hundreds of other kidnapped children with powers, undergoes testing by various so-called "advanced civilizations". Yet, through it all her soul speaks to only one potential buyer, a mysterious alien woman who holds the same abilities as her.
Together they watch various futures unfold until the woman offers young Marina a deal: Save her son from a future of despair and on the day he rises to power, she will not only give Marina the freedom she so longs for, but the power to return to her loved ones.
Left with no other options, Marina accepts, thrusting her into the depraved palace life of the Shamra Empire.
